And yeah even discovery has a few extra items but in reality it's still super basic for what I'd love.Ģ.Different quality versions of the same equipment and weapons. It has some extra items I think but not many. It has some new items and is also single player with an extended story. Each real life day the economy is mixed up.

I just find when I play a new game I quickly end up with the best ship and buy the best items for it then I'm not sure what else to do as money is now useless.Īny suggestions on how I can enjoy this great game more?Ĭrossfire mod at least has a changing economy. Simply having the equipment colour coded like green blue purple for how rare it is would have been great.įinally I would also have liked to see some kind of skill tree for our character to progress them into. Would be nice to have some kind of measure like damaged per second, or damage per unit of energy used. It may just be me but I find it really tricky to work out how good a weapon actually is. I'd have loved to rare loot drops which could be added into your ship to do various things likeĪim assist, better shield recharge, hull regeneration, smuggling compartments, faster thrusters, improved movability etc etc

For such a big and amazing game I always felt like the weapons and equipment all felt very similar and very shallow.
